Landscape Ontario Congress

January 11-13, 2011

We invite you to visit us at the 2011 Landscape Ontario Congress, to be held at the Toronto Congress Centre, January 11-13, 2011. This is Canada’s largest landscape show, and is visited by a large number of landscape designers, landscape architects and design/build companies. Last year we had nearly constant traffic at our booth, so if you'd like to have some dedicated time to discuss Vectorworks Landmark and your company, please get in touch using the link below to make a personal appointment. CINEMA 4D in Iron Man 2 

CINEMA 4D was front and centre in the recent Hollywood film Iron Man 2. Visual effects houses Perception and Pixel Liberation Front, of New York and Venice, California, respectively, used an integrated workflow between CINEMA 4D and Adobe After Effects to create many of the gadgets and heads-up displays seen throughout the film.

Best Practices Seminars

Resolve Software recently hosted a new series of Vectorworks Best Practices workshops. These half-day seminars, held at the Vancouver Public Library’s main branch downtown, focused on getting longtime Landmark and Architect users up-to-date on techniques and workflow that play to the strengths of the current software.

The events were a big success, especially our Best Practices For Vectorworks Architect seminar, which sold out its first date, and prompted both an additional event in Vancouver and a custom, onsite version of the seminar at an architectural firm in Victoria. We will conduct similar events in Toronto and online in the new year. See the calendar above.

Full House for Toronto Events

During the first week of November, Resolve Software, along with our Toronto partners Computer Systems Centre and Jump IT, hosted three separate events at CSC’s retail store in downtown Toronto. We were delighted with the results, with over 65 people registering for our presentations on Vectorworks in interior design, landscape architecture and architecture. We’re currently planning follow-up presentations and seminars at CSC’s new Business Centre, which is now in construction at their College & Spadina location. We'll have dates posted on our website calendar shortly. We’d like to acknowledge the support of Apple Canada who helped make these events happen.
