Even automatically generated CNC code is represented visually as a model providing a natural interface for manual editing. So there is no need to define exceptions like access panels or drill holes, e.g. for cable-runs that are already in the 3D model.
interiorcad generates assembly data while you design a 3D cabinet. You only break the piece of furniture down into its parts and export it to your machines. Our integrated Part Layout Wizard checks for alignment of all parts and their associated millings. Check out this sample movie for details.
In Vectorworks interiorcad 2009, it’s much easier to design objects with a conical shape at their base. The movie shows the unfolding and machining of the veneer for the front of a counter.
